Friday Inspirations: Baby Books

17 February 2012

Every now and then you come across something that makes you think, "Why didn't I think of that?!?"  Today's inspiration comes from Me and Riz on Etsy.  Her baby books make me wish I was making them everyday (not that I don't love the Whitehall Shop's sweet shirts).

In fact, I did make something very similar a couple of years ago as a baby shower gift for my sister-in-law/niece.   I will have to dig out the pictures and post about it soon.

These sweet baby books are just what I was looking for in this post a while back.  Not so many details that you will never remember, and open ended so that you can fill in what you like. I know, I know...on with it!

There are so many talented people in this world and they inspire me daily. Here are some of the things from around Etsy that put a smile on my face:

I love Riz's take on the baby book idea (one page for each month, with room for a picture on one side, and the details, like milestones and measurements on the back) and her paper selections are perfection. The boy version above is whimsical and the girl version is so proper.  They are both fabulous, and just the tip of the iceberg.  She has so may sweet styles in her shop.

Happy weekend!
